This is a series of portraits drawn directly on book pages from old art history books. Most of the book pages depict notable artworks from the past. Initially, I drew myself, family, and friends, and later included well-known politicians, newscasters, and actors. This work is a study of facial expressions, an attempt to link the past with the present, and a documentation of my family and friends as well as prominent people drifting through my mind.
